Videographer & Social Media Specialist – Do you have an eye and ability for capturing magical moments underwater? Are you artistic, passionate about diving, but also business oriented and self-motivated? If so, you could be a great fit for our in-house media professional role. In this position, you’ll sell and conduct private videography sessions for dive clients, as well as produce and manage our social media content calendar.
If you’re an instructor, you will also be prioritized for freelance instruction and dive guiding opportunities.
Must be a PADI Divemaster in active status and have your own camera equipment. Please submit a CV, cover letter and videography samples. Photographers should only apply if they have videography experience as well.
Work Volunteer – Looking for a way to exchange work for courses and fun diving? We offer a year-round work volunteer program, where you’ll help with simple daily tasks around the dive shop in exchange for a credit that can be applied to fun diving, equipment rental and courses! You’ll get to live the dive lifestyle in paradise and advance your dive training, without having to make the additional investment in PADI course fees. Candidates do not require any dive shop or diving experience. We love folks who are outgoing, energetic and eager to help however they can!
Requires minimum commitment of 1 month, volunteering 3Xs per week.
Where You’ll Work
You’ll be working on the beach, exactly five steps from the turquoise waters of Half Moon Bay in West End, Roatan. We’re next to the iconic Sun Downers beach bar so the vibe is always lively and we’re as much a community center for our divers, as we are a dive shop.
You can work with great pride, as we strive to keep all of our gear, boats and facilities in top notch condition. And, as one of just a few Roatan Marine Park Certified Coral Ambassador centers, we work not only in nature, but for nature ensuring that the reef we love to explore today, will be there for the divers and communities of tomorrow.
