Want to learn underwater video post production too?
After two days of diving and classroom instruction, opt in for another day of learning basic editing in Adobe Premiere Pro to really bring your footage to life. Specifically putting together reels and premiere settings best suited for varies social media platforms.
If it has been over 6 months since your last dive, we recommend fun diving with us first to get comfortable in the water and show good buoyancy skills which are essential to underwater videography. This way you can get the most out of your two-day pro video class!
Meet Your Instructor | Francesca deWeerdt
Born in Puerto Rico but raised in Atlanta, Francesca has always felt a special connection to the ocean. It wasn’t until after graduating from University of Miami and becoming a PADI scuba diving instructor that she knew that she wanted to dedicate her life and career to capturing the beauty of it.
She loves the dynamic nature of videography and capturing ocean wildlife in its truest form. Francesca works as an in-house media professional and PADI instructor with Sun Divers. She also has her own media company where she develops custom underwater videos for clients such as dive shops and marine conservation non-profits.
Having established her career as an underwater videographer, she is know excited to share all the skills, tips and tricks with others wanting to enhance their video capturing capabilities.
